A centerpiece of our neighborhood,

sporting three baseball diamonds, a basketball court, playground, and the BCYF Flaherty Pool.

This area was named "James F. Healy Playground" by the City of Boston City Council on December 5, 1921. James F. Healy was a Sergeant, Battery "B." 16th F.
