H2CNA is a descendant of a neighborhood watch group, Friends of Healy Field.
This group started in the 1990s by residents who met to discuss their concerns
about traffic, safety, housing, and general neighborhood support.
Meetings were held in people's homes and the Roslindale Community Center
and were attended by residents, elected officials,
police officers/crime watch staff, and
City of Boston departments (traffic, representatives from the Mayor's office, et al).
Friends of Healy Field went on to develop the Healy Field Community Garden.
H2CNA offers our diverse residents a place to connect about general neighborhood and city information,
building projects and workforce housing, health and welfare including climate change,
as well as local gatherings, events, and notices about our special place in Boston.
